Events Management & Coordination

Events management and coordination is one of the business activities of the Bhutan Philanthropy Ventures.  We are experienced and seasoned professionals who live up to the satisfaction of our clients. Our skilled and knowledgeable organizers successfully plan and produce your next events, meetings, workshops, seminars and product launches.  Few of the events managed and coordinated by us so far include the following.

26th Session of the Asia and Pacific Commission on Agricultural Statistics (APCAS)
15-19 February 2016, Thimphu, Bhutan

The 26th Session of the APCAS welcomed 76 participants, including 56 from 19 APCAS member countries, two from observer countries, 16 from FAO and sub-regional organizations like SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) and the ASEAN Food Security Information System (AFSIS).

Bhutan International Marathon

YPO Conferences / Events
21-24 April 2017 & 29 April - 03 May 2017

The Bhutan Philanthropy Ventures (BPV) in collaboration with ​Impact Travellers has hosted Conferences for two (2) groups of YPO members from 21–24 April 2017 and 29 April–3 May 2017 respectively in Thimphu with the following objectives:

  • Learning about the challenges and opportunities facing Bhutan today and over the next decades:

  • Deep-diving into Gross National Happiness (GNH) and its historical and future role in shaping Kingdom, and applications of GNH than can be applied in other context (e.g. personal lives, business, etc.;

  • Understanding mindfulness and meditation and incorporating these skills into personal and professional lives;

  • Networking with Bhutan’s government, business and civil leadership.

Members who attended the events includes a cross-section of chief executives and business leaders across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

The Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) is the world’s largest premier peer network of chief executives and business leaders. Founded in 1950, the YPO currently provides 23,000 peers and their families in more than 130 countries with access to unique educational and networking experiences designed to support their business, community and personal leadership.

Bhutan Solutions Summit, 2017

The Bhutan Philanthropy Ventures (BPV) in collaboration with beVoyageur and MyBhutan hosted a week long Bhutan Solution Submit (BSS) from 28 May 2017 – 3 June 2017 for high profile clients in Bhutan.

The objective of the BSS was to bring high-end tourists to Bhutan to create a platform for the government and private sector to build relationships with high profile individuals having potential interest to becoming further involved with Bhutan.

 

The Submit was attended by Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bhutan, representatives of Ministry of Economic Affairs (discuss Foreign Direct Investment), Tourism Council of Bhutan (discuss tourism), Bhutan Olympic Committee (discuss sports), Ministry of Education, Trarayana Foundation (discuss social impacts), Bhutan Philanthropy Ventures (discuss current issues & potential solutions) and eight (8) international business clients.
